Hi! I’m Lauren Dahl, and I’m the founder and broker-in-charge of Sojourn Real Estate. I help clients buy and sell primary homes, second homes, investment properties and land throughout the Asheville area including Buncombe, Transylvania, Henderson, Haywood, and Madison counties.

I’ve been licensed in four states since 2009 (Utah, Oregon, Washington, and now North Carolina), and I serve my professional community as a certified education instructor for the North Carolina Real Estate Commission.

I founded Sojourn Real Estate after purchasing my own short-term vacation rental in the 55 South Market building in downtown Asheville in 2022. Through getting to know other owners in the building, I realized there was a need for a property management company that would exceed guest and owner expectations while still providing a big dose of southern hospitality and personalized service. I pride myself on delivering unique, technology-driven, guest-oriented property management services to my clients.

I grew up in South Alabama and graduated from the University of Alabama in 2002 (Roll Tide!). I have lived in Colorado, Utah, and Oregon and currently reside in beautiful Brevard in Western North Carolina with my four young children. I love knitting, sewing, hiking, attempting to mountain bike, and planning to (someday) build my dream home in the country.
